OVERVIEW


StudyCast allows the user to:


  • Save recordings to the device and iCloud according to Subject, Year of study, 
  • Upload audio files from the users Files App
  • Access audio recordings using iCloud across all the users Apple devices 
  • Provides iOS, iPadOS and MacOS Apps
  • Apple iCloud Sharing allows users to share their recordings with other user using the recognisable Apple Share Sheet.
    • Only document owners can modify shared data
    • Perfect for teachers to share lessons or parents to upload recordings for their children
  • Manage audio recordings by subject / year and Chapter or only by subject.
  • Searchable text
  • Limited Speech to Text conversion is possible on device or via Apple Servers
  • Uses standard Apple components such as navigation, sheets, scrollable lists, etc. that ensure user familiarity from the get go.
  • Enhanced for Accessibility with voice over for visually impaired users

Arrange your Recordings by subject
Arrange your Recordings by subject
When recordings are saved or uploaded the user can designate the subject to which it belongs. This can be modified later if needed.
Arrange recordings by year of study
Arrange recordings by year of study
To better search and triage recordings they can be saved according to the year in which it was studied. This will enable students to revise by year if desired.

Recordings can be allocated to a particular chapter of a book.

Here all the users recordings are grouped by subject and displayed regardless of the chapter title and year studied.

Users can search for content by subject, chapter title, year studied or the book title.

These are used in the app to easily add recordings only for those selected subjects and to only display content for the selected subjects.
